Everything with a plug, tested on site

Our technician works through your site item by item, so the rest of your team keeps working.

  • Office and IT: computers, monitors, printers, chargers, power boards and extension leads
  • Kitchens and staff rooms: kettles, fridges, microwaves, toasters and coffee machines
  • Trades and workshops: power tools, battery chargers, leads and site equipment
  • Warehouses and factories: fans, heaters, wrapping machines, cleaning gear and portable plant

Each item gets a visual inspection for damaged cords and plugs, then electrical tests of the earth, insulation and wiring, then a printed tag.

Your records are ready when the auditor asks

Every result goes into Testel's own records system the day we test.

  • A report for every visit, listing each item, where it is and its result
  • Records online that you can open and send to an auditor, insurer or WorkSafe
  • A reminder before the next test is due, so nothing lapses
  • Failed items flagged, with repair or replacement if you want it

Questions we get asked

No. Each item is unplugged only while it is being tested, usually a minute or two, then it goes straight back into use. If a quiet time suits you better, testing can be booked out of hours.

It gets a tag showing it is out of service and is listed on your report with the reason. Testel can repair or replace it for you, so you aren't left without the item for long.

Every item carries a durable printed tag, and you get a report of every item tested. Your records are kept online, so you can show them to an auditor or insurer any time, and we remind you before the next test is due.

Yes. Testel's technicians service metro, country and remote sites, from a single shop to businesses with many sites across the state.
